About My Eagle Project

The Eagle Project I plan to do is a memorial for Constable William Oscar McCarty. On Saturday, April 11, 1942
Pct. 4 Constable William McCarty was shot in the heart while quieting a disturbance in front of what is now the
Uptown Theatre.To learn more about Constable McCarty click this link. There is no memorial for Constable McCarty. The plan for the memorial is a 4x2x2 granite block with a bronze plaque on top.
